Would you order a hug? A love letter? A piece of advice?
Vending Machine is a participatory performance installation in which audiences place an order through a small opening and receive their response from an unseen performer concealed inside a box presented as a vending machine. Replacing standardized products with gestures of care, conversation, and human presence, the work explores the tension between transaction and reciprocity, automation and intimacy, labor and generosity, transforming ordinary acts of service into encounters that question what can be given, received, or fulfilled on demand.
